Michael Tetteh
C.E.O/COUNTRY DIRECTOR
Michael is the founder and director of Mankind Ghana Foundation, I have
a degree in computer science from the All Nations University College which is in the Easter Region of Ghana and completed in the year 2005 with a bachelors degree. After graduation i worked with the Ghana health service as an IT technician for three years, later moved to work with Projects Abroad as their Eastern regional deputy coordinator for four years where I had soo much experience and passion to have an organization for my self where I can help change lifes of children, women and the deprived communities by the help of the past volunteers and present. In the year 2014 i started working as the general manager of Downtown Hotel Located in the Greater Accra Region and that’s the same hotel where volunteers sleep when they arrive late at night at the airport, they lodge there and we drive on to the Eastern Region where volunteers have their host families and placement, its about an hour and half drive.
I’m very thankful to all the team that works along to make the organization a better place for volunteers, from your preparation to you getting here and leaving the country after your project ends; you have a 24 hour support by the lovely staff. All staff members have experience with volunteers either by volunteering ,hosting or being a coordinator. We came together to be a good team to give volunteers the best of experience here in our welcoming and beautiful country Ghana.
